This year has presented much anxiety and confusion about our world and our children’s education. No one knows what schooling will look like next week or next month. But no matter the changes, The Answer Class will proudly stand by you, our community of students and parents.
Earlier this year, we began offering live, virtual classes for the first time. We weren’t sure how they’d be received by students and parents, who were facing so many new and complex challenges. Would students have the energy to engage with SAT and ACT classes?
We’ve been so humbled by the resilience and dedication that we’ve seen in the many students who have taken our classes this year.
They and their families continue to show up with an intention to improve their standardized test scores. We’re honored to be your guide to the SAT and ACT and to get students a step closer to the best college experience possible.
When we founded The Answer Class, we focused on making our classes accessible for students and families. We continue to adhere to those same key values today.
- Every student should be able to afford a standardized test prep class. Keeping our tuition fees significantly lower (in many cases, over 80% lower than other prep organizations) and offering scholarships for any students who may not have the funds available represents how we ensure every student who wants to take a class with us can do so.
- Test prep helps to level the playing field. While few students relish the thought of taking standardized tests, all students can start from a foundation of knowledge about the test itself. Like anything else intimidating and important, there are a lot of rumors and misinformation about the SAT and ACT shared, and in our classes, we debunk these myths.
- Busy students need short, convenient classes. Students already juggle packed schedules, and multi-week test prep classes just add more stress. Our eight-hour classes, held over one, two, or three days often at students’ home high schools (and now virtually), are a short commitment, but packed with information. And our live, virtual classes mean our highly-trained teachers deliver material in real-time and straight to students’ computer screens.
- Wellness is essential for success, including during standardized tests. While our compact classes allow students to preserve much-needed free time, our curriculum also encourages self-confidence and realistic optimism concerning the college application process.
Although the SAT and ACT aren’t being offered at all of their former venues, many students are still taking the tests. When possible and safe, we strongly encourage students to go for it! Because some schools have opted to go test-optional this year, a solid standardized test score will improve students’ college applications as well as chances to earn needed scholarship money.
Students can start preparing for an upcoming test by registering for a live, virtual class, which will share all they need to know to get their best standardized test scores.
