Offered seasonally from June – October, The Answer Class College Essay Writing Workshops take students from idea generation, to outline, to the completion of a first draft of their Common Application personal essay. Designed to encourage student self-reflection, these workshops cover all seven Common App essay prompts and also integrate time for prewriting, freewriting, and self and peer-editing.
Summer & Fall Workshop Schedule
Our popular eight-hour College Essay Writing Workshops are offered in person at high schools throughout Maryland, at area universities, and online – live via Zoom Classroom. With in-person and live, virtual Essay Writing Workshops offered during the day, in the evenings, and on the weekends, there is an option for every student!

Community Giving
Students from all high schools are welcome to register for a College Essay Writing Workshop. Students from partner high schools can attend ANY college prep class and their high school will continue to earn the 20% donation.
