College Bound Brief #76**
Reading the news and the polls about college, you’d think everyone was staying home or signing up for trade school. Well… apparently people say one thing and do another when it comes to college, just as they do in many other parts of life. Polls show precipitous declines in how much value people put in getting a college degree. Yet college enrollment numbers continue to grow.
And the value of college continues to pay off. People with a college degree earn more and economists predict that will continue. And the investment pays off. While gross tuition rates continue to climb, families pay less on average than previous years, making the degree pay off.
So as with everything else, you should do what’s best for your child and your family and don’t worry about what the latest poll may tell you!
